Ephesus, Art of an Ancient City

Ephesus was an ancient city of the Ionian League during the Classical Greek era. During Roman times, it became the largest city in Roman Asia. Famed for the Temple of Artemis, the Library of Celsus, its theatre, terrace houses, several major bath complexes, and one of the most advanced aqueduct systems in the ancient world, it was also an important center of early Christianity.
